Nearly 400 structured finance professionals enjoyed SFIG’s Industry Dinner on January 19, 2017 at the Plaza in New York City. Net proceeds from the dinner benefited the SFIG Foundation, which will help high school students taking part in Mentor Foundation’s mentoring activities to further their goals via scholarships for post-secondary education, trade school, or other career pursuits. Scholarship America is helping to develop and administer the scholarship programs.

The evening’s fundraising program included a brief presentation by Mentor Foundation USA President & CEO, Gunilla Girardo as well as a riveting “spoken word” performance by Mentor program facilitator Sergio Chavez. The Silent Auction featured wonderful items and experiences generously donated by individuals in the SFIG community.
